Maxing Out The Medical Frequent Flyer Mileage...

Let's see.  In the last ten days, I have needed the emergency services professionals... four times.  Emergency medical appointments... five times.  School meetings... 6 visits.  The next ten days looks very similar.  I do, however need to keep the wings level and the humor high... therefore?  I give you questions to ponder while in waiting rooms.

"Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do 'practice'?"

 "The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans are suffering from some sort of mental
illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're ok then its you!"
 "If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?"

 "Insanity is just anger-put to good use."

  3. To make you smile...One night at dinner, Morgan said to his wife, "I have to admit I'm feeling much better since my operation, but I can't figure out why I got this big bump on my head."
    "Oh, that!" said his spouse. "In the middle of your operation they suddenly ran out of ether."

  4. Meleah - HANGING being the operative word word here. Although, you must admit, that the word 'hanging' has a lot more definitions than it used to. So I will specify that the 'hanging' in THIS case? Is 'hanging out' as apposed to 'hanging around' or possibly 'hanging up' or possible 'hanging someone out to dry' or 'hanging someone up... or possibly upside down'. This just goes to show that I have been 'hanging with the wrong crowd' lately. (Sorry. I had to laugh at the "hang in there" sentiment, because I have heard the sentiment from a lot of people lately and wonder, just which meaning it closely resembles at any particular moment. It seems to help keep things in perspective and the wings of sanity flying pretty damn level. So thank you for your assist in keeping my own personal plane aloft. A lot of wind seems to be generated by laughter. Never realized that before now. Have you? {{{hugs back}}}

    M - OMG!!! Meleah's comment was a calming, relaxing chuckle. Yours was an OMG! MUST run out and get a ream of copies made of your post... and must share link both here and in a post so that all can understand and appreciate the genius that is you! ;) http://lefthanedsquirrel.blogspot.com/2011/03/blog-post_14.html

    VWBug - By time I got to your comment I thought I had reached the top of my humor meter.... but that managed to peg it off the chart. You and M need to get to know each other. I just have to ask myself if you are somehow related?

    Thank you all. Life is slowly coming back into focus. At least for those of the family slowly coming off the pain meds. As for me? I think I prefer the world slightly askew. That way, 'normal' is really the unusual and all seems as it should be. ;P
