Do YOUR Kids Do This?

I wish I had batteries for the camera at this moment. I think you really need to have a picture to get the FULL effect...

Rachel had gone to a Renaissance Faire a couple of months ago with her cousins. She came home with a pair of horns.... (Devil type horns) They look almost like ceramic horns threaded through a cord that you tie around your head. Knots are placed on either side of each horn so that they stay in place.

She likes wearing them on occasion when we go out in public. I don't have a problem with this.

This is the same child who wore a string, rope, tied around her waist so that she could 'have a tail' when she was about 3....until she was about 8! My dear MIL finally made her a stuffed monkey tail (with a curl in it, mind you) that velcro'd around her waist.

She got a lot of double takes when she wore it underneath dresses and coats where you could only see the tail sticking out. :o) She still has that thing and will sometimes put it back into service.

Anyway, back to the horns....

We went out a few days ago and her horns were perched atop her head...

with a new addition.......

Horn Warmers....

She had cut the finger tips off an old knitted glove and put them over her horns. She said they were getting cold! Heh!

  1. She is very creative! She's the kind of student I love to have because you never know what kind of imaginative outburst they'll have next. Keeps me on my toes, and puts a smile on my face.

  3. Yes she is! I think her sense of humor is as close to her father's than any of the other kids. It is also one of the things I love most about her.
