What if they were deliberately crafted holidays, of a sort, devised by your inner psyche to relieve you from the pressure of artificial expectations?
Would you still bemoan them, wonder what's wrong with you, or fear that they'll never end? Or, Lemon Stand, would they kind of tickle you pink?

Food For Thought In My Mailbox...
A very long time ago, a fellow blogger friend introduced me to TUT... A Note from the Universe. (BTW, TUT stands for Totally Unique Thoughts). Every day I get a note that is by turns humorous, insightful and deeply thought provoking. Sometimes we all need a positive pick me up. If you go to the link you can sign up for your own TUTs. ReplyDeleteMeleah - It definitely gives you pause to think about. I love how some of these messages can take me out of the mental path I'm on so that I can stop and look around for a different perspective.
ReplyDeleteVW Bug - I had forgotten that you could get them daily or weekly. I've been getting them for a very long time and feel I do better with a daily shot of positive thinking.
Rather like rainy days make us appreciate sun and winter gives us an appreciation of summer (and vice versa).
ReplyDeleteI've always said there would be nothing more boring than living in a place with no seasons. I suppose I hadn't thought of extrapolating that but it works for me. ;-)
